Mileage per Gallon

Sports cars are built for speed, not comfort. Some prefer to drive on the fast track and watch the other cars pass by, so these people go to a dealer and buy one. There are other reasons why someone prefers one brand over another. This could be the looks of the car, the smart engine on board, or how fast it can accelerate in less than 10 seconds.

As fuel prices rise, people are more conservative about buying a sports car and one of the most important questions a customer will ask the seller is how many miles per gallon of fuel the car consumes.

For comparison: 2 cars are chosen and the figures given are based on data from the Ministry of Energy.

A car that is very well known all over the world and one of the best sports cars is the BMW. This car uses premium gas and gets 20 miles per gallon for driving in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway or an average of 23 miles per gallon.

Another good brand known worldwide is Jaguar. The sports car, the Jaguar, gets 18 miles per gallon in town and 26 miles per gallon on the highway for an average of 21 miles per gallon.

As the figures show, one car is capable of using less gas in the city while the other performs better on the highway. The above figures are not definitive as fuel consumption varies and depends on how the person drives the sports car.

There are many other sports cars on the market that can be compared before choosing the right vehicle to drive off the dealership. The deciding factor then depends on a person's preference.

The sports car really is a great machine that keeps the driver and passenger on the edge of their seat at all times. Although there is not so much difference between these 2 sports cars, the fuel mileage per gallon is an important factor that will be considered before choosing one sports car over the other.
