Basic tips in Sports car racing

The racing strategy for sports cars is typical of other motor racing techniques.  Below are seven fundamental steps to keep in mind when participating in a car race:

Start the engine by lifting the lock on the starter switch, which is usually located on the driver's side.  The engine must be running as soon as the announcer has started the countdown.  Step lightly on the gas pedal and feel the engine running.  Another way to make sure the engine is ready is by looking at the rev counter - it changes and moves from zero once the switch has started.

Throttle control with a sports car means 750 to 850 hp.  Imagine the feeling behind that little wheel; it's the breathtaking feeling of total power.  The secret to continuous power is that the car has enough throttle to lift the whole machine.  Fishtailing could be one of the problems when racing and to prevent this a little effort is needed to keep the throttle under control.

With an automatic gearbox and a sports car with automatic transmission, the system can set the clutch automatically.  This is for amateur athletes, so they don't have to change gears manually.  The sports car is smart enough to control the gearbox in front of the driver.  The traditional H symbol is used for a sports car with manual transmission.

During the race it is inevitable to bump the sidewalls.  This is no cause for concern.  The sports car driver only needs to shift down the gear in reverse to get off the wall.  Sooner or later, the car has to be back on track.

Comfortably on the track always stays under the white line of the lane, at a speed of 100 miles per hour.  This allows the driver to prevent the other cars from ending up in the back of the sports car.  When the speed of the other cars is reached, return to the track.

Mind's presence remains concentrated and keeps both hands on the wheel.  Steer the wheel at a slow but steady pace, don't exaggerate the turn.

Halt during Emergency is part of staying focused always remembering that there is an emergency button in every sports car if there is a need to stop.  This is located in the center of the dashboard and is used when the car needs to stop moving.  This button immediately stops the car stimulator.

Please note that even in this situation, the sports car can still be driven until the end of the race.  Be alert and try to master the race track when time permits, but always keep safety in mind.
